Nicky is a coppersmith & jewellery designer/maker, she makes earthy, organic jewellery & quirky spoons mainly in copper, but sometimes Silver. 

 

Inspired by sun dried seed pods, shattered rock formations & weathered driftwood, Nicky often reclaims her copper from old plumbing pipe & uses traditional techniques such as fold forming & air chasing to manipulate the metal into dimensional & very tactile pieces of “art” jewellery, each one a unique & beautiful statement.

 

Her workbench is deliberately kept low tech & she enjoys reclaiming old tools because, she says “they always produce the best & most interesting results!”​
